old friends

-kindergarten-
"Jyoti!"your best and only friend Jasmine came running to you
"Hey Jasmine what's up?"
Suddenly the look of cheer that your friend always had became very sad
"Well I'm going to be moving. That means saying good bye. But I don't wanna!"she cried soon tears streaming down both your faces
"Well I'm gonna be moving to. My dad said that were getting eficted, so we have to weave our house and fwriemds behind"you tried to brighten up the mood"we might end up movwing newt to each owther"
"Rweally?!"both of you stopped crying
"Yea oh, I hawve something for you"you reached in your back pack and pulled out a pretty purple collar your older sister gave you.
"It's from my big sis, she doesn't live wif me no more. She told me to give this to someone special"you put it around Jasmine's neck making sure it was still lose like your sis taught you.
-during class-
You were typically the good girl. You only cursed during recess or before school when you were only talking to your friends. You saw Jasmine playing with the collar when the teacher saw. She ripped it of Jasmine's neck and burned it. Jasmine and you broke out into curses. A week later Jasmine was gone and you erased all your memories of her, they became to sad to think about.
-time skip to fourth grade-
You would cut yourself in the morning when no one was awake or around. You blamed the cuts on the cat and blamed the reason you cut yourself on the move, both lies. You didn't know why but you always felt depressed but you thought it was because you were bullied. You didn't remember losing your only friend. No one brought up the question"do you miss your old friends"probably because after Jasmine left you didn't have any.

You saw her again. Your friend from so long ago. You didn't know though. You became friends once more not realizing that you've known her for so long

"Hey what was your first elementry?"Jasmine asked you
"It was tartan"
"That was mine!I went there for half a year I might've known you"
"Well my teachers name in kindergarten was like ms.bake out Blake"
"OMG we had the same teacher! Wait I think I knew you.Yea! Didn't you give me a cat collar?"
It took you a minute as your memories were coming back"yea it was from my sister"
